CERN and Mistral Partner on Flare, the First Large Physics Model for the LHC

CERN and Mistral AI signed a statement of intent on October 15, 2026, to build Flare, a foundation model trained on billions of simulated LHC collisions to reconstruct events, identify particles, and flag anomalies.
