SEBI to issue AI and ML guidelines for capital markets with kill switches and human oversight

SEBI Chairman Tuhin Kanta Pandey said the regulator will shortly issue guidelines for responsible AI and machine learning use in Indian capital markets, featuring a tiered approach, accountability, data controls, kill switches, and human oversight, aligned with IOSCO standards.
